Jungle Lodge

The hosts were so lovely and couldn't do more to help. Our room was big clean and comfortable. They cooked us generous and delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Served us fruit fresh from their garden which they were kind enough to show us around. They organised us transport to our next accomodation and also organised for us to go the elephant transit orphanage and a fantastic safari package at a great rate (also packing us a big breakfast to take). The location is quiet and close to the park entrance. Thanks to the whole family again!

Good condition room,good safari,good food and good taxxi service provide this hotel .I saw the elephants coming to the front elephant fence right from the balcony of the hotel.I recommend this hotel to foreigners who wish to visit Udawalawe.I hope to come back to this hotel. Location, food, and friendly family.

Loved the stay. The hosts were very friendly and provided all meals (Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast) which made everything extremely convenient. The hosts also provide a safari option which is good value for money for a family. Highly recommended.

Very nice and cosy! The owner and his family are so friendly! I recommend the salary with him. We enjoy lovely experiences with him. His wife is so kind and his son very good student!

I'm so glad we stayed here - the host family is the cutest ever. They cooked us the most delicious, varied meals for breakfast and dinner every day and helped us catch a bus to our next destination. We had a lovely and interesting chat with the wife who speaks very good English. Husband took us on a safari where we saw lots of elephants, deer, buffaloes, mongooses, pelicans, crocodiles, peacocks, etc. He made sure that we don't go on the same road as the people most of the time. Tip: If you do the 12-hour safari, you can see lots of animals in the morning and elephants bathing in the afternoon. You might get lucky and see. And we regularly saw an elephant from the balcony of the room. The rooms are very clean, beautiful and the balcony is great for chilling. We will come back to this lodge one day.Owner provide you a good safari, thank you very much!!!!

The hosts running this resort is very nice. They provided very good breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us at very reasonable prices. We also took the safari tour they provided, which was very good too. They finally arranged the taxi for us to go to the next city. The room is spacious and clean, the bed is comfortable. The location is close to the national park. I would recommend this hotel for everyone.

The location was perfect for going on safari. The hotel is stunning, and we were given fruit from the garden as snacks. The family who run the hotel were really helpful and kind and made us amazing meals. They also took us to the local elephant sanctuary one evening. They also offer safari trips themselves!
