Green Heaven

If we could give this place 20 stars we would! What a charming town out in the mountains - where the hosts met us and led the way to the beautiful apartment. They definitely went over and above to welcome us, and help our family of five feel comfortable in their beautiful, well-equipped home. Our children commented excitedly that the floors and decors reminded them of the palaces, castles and churches we have toured, but in a comfortable welcoming way! It was so big that 8 to 10 people could fit here very comfortably. Anna gave us excellent recommendations where to enjoy walking through the town, take excellent sunset photos of Vesuvius, and for a local pizza place to eat! (She was right- good pizza, but Beware - the delicious pizzas are big! More than twice the size of any we’ve previously seen). We also enjoyed the smell of all the beautiful flowers and fruit trees in the garden the kitchen opened to and out littles enjoyed all the friendly cats and dogs outside. The kitchen was the best equipped of any we have stayed in with a deluxe, easy to-use cappuccino maker which was such a treat in the morning. It was far beyond our hopes to get a charmed experience with our family of. Relaxing mountain town close to Pompeii, Vesuvius, beaches and incredible hiking trails. Thank you! Our only regret is not staying longer. We highly recommend to all, and would definitely stay here again.

We got superb pizza from the neighbouring restaurant with the help of the owner.

We arrived at a freezing property that remained cold all evening/night/morning. This experience likely caused by the fact that in the winter the rather sizable property is most of the time probably empty and heating it up is time-consuming and costly (despite the modern pellet heating system). We could not have a shower as it was so cold and we sat around he fireplace in our coats in the evening. A sizable property, with rather limited furnishing ( two out of the three bedrooms only had beds no sidetables, bed lights etc).

Very clean, simple accommodation that worked well for our family of 4. It is the 1st floor so we had some noise from upstairs however not a problem. It is a basic place however was nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. We utilized the wood pellet heater to keep the place nice and warm. The host even dropped off another bag of pellets to make sure we had lots for our stay. Excellent communication throughout.
