Bomani House

The location was a challenge to find. The contact number provided on Booking.com does not belong to the property. Whoever it belongs to was kind enough to help us with the accurate contact details. The accurate number provided is Hosea's, not Jasmine's. It was a confusing experience that led us to question integrity.

The communication could have been better. There are never second chances for first impressions. The number placed on the platform does not belong to the property, and we got directed to another number. This made us fear that we could be dealing with a fraudster to the effect of having to protect our bank details, which the property had requested when booking. Our attempts to reach the management to understand if it was possible to check in at our suggested time were met with a rude response, which made us feel we were a bother. In a phone call with the taxi driver, who was kindly helping us to locate the property, whoever was in charge said they were sleeping; responding to the phone calls and messages was not important. Only for the person to come to his senses a few hours later and write an 'apology' when we had already moved on to find other options. It is no dignity to go places you are not welcome. So, very poor business etiquette and customer service.

Our short stay at Bomani house was fantastic! The place feels very homely and cosy. The owner Hosea was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. He showed us around the area and also organised lovely activities for us. I would highly recommend this place if you wish to stay in an authentic accommodation with a passionate owner who designed and created everything in the house!

I loved how welcoming Jasmine and Hosea are. They take great care of the property as well as their guests going above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. Hosea is a great tour guide of the city showing you local spots and Jasmine is so lovely to chat with and learn about her experience in Tanzania.

Jasmin and Hosea are amazing hosts and helpful in any way. The bed was very compfy and the room big. Also a very quiet neighbourhood. Anytime again.

The hosts were incredibly helpful accommodating, I was traveling with my 4-month-old puppy, and they were incredibly kind to him and I. The property has a lot of room to move around, and the inside of the house is very clean.

It is a little hard to park a personal car because the road leading to the property is is narrow, though this is not really in the host's control.

Hoseia and Jasmine were amazing hosts. They were great people to hang out with and nice to become friends with them! They cooked for me three times a day, had a great garden and lovely dog. They are very helpful and it feels like home with them! Thank you for the amazing time!

The staff is super kind, they make you feel at home and the neighborhood is very quite. I had wifi and it is comfortable to stay when you have to go to the Arusha airport or need to be picked up for safari.

Just part of the road to get there is complicated, but the stuff has car or piki piki that make it easier, so they make it easier for you, that is amazing.
