Lignanello Country House

This was an excellent choice for a family of five (all adults). The apartment was cosy, safe, spacious, spotless, and felt like home. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there were extra pillows and blankets. The tranquillity of the place was wonderful, and the farm dogs were adorable and friendly. The once-a-week open buffet in the restaurant was a fantastic experience. The host, Martina, was genuinely very friendly and helpful.

Everything about Lignanello country house was nothing short of lovely. Beautifully furnished and equipped, charming and spacious apartment. A very pretty and private garden area reserved for the guests. Landscaping and the view of Pienza from the sitting bench is beautiful. The highlight of our stay was a visit to a cheese making and sheep farm not far away, recommended on my request to Valentina, who was also very responsive. A little slice of heaven and made our stay in Tuscany extra special!

Excellent stay. Large and comfortable appartment, good communication and great hosts. Very near all nice little cities in val d’orcia , wonderful location and people. Thank you!

Very close to Pienza. Lots of bedrooms. Nice country setting. Hostess was very nice.

Other members at the country house had a dog that barked a lot in the middle of the night for the 1st 2 nights.

Beds were slightly uncomfortable for me, but they were still fine

Perfectly located extremely close to Pienza and within very easy driving distance to Montepulciano and Montalcino. This very spacious villa includes all modern conveniences away from the hectic atmosphere of the big towns. It is contained within a working olive farm and winery. Valentina and Martina are excellent hosts. Travelling with a young family, this was the absolute highlight of our time in Tuscany.
