AUWe loved our stay at Anchor Watch! The location is wonderful - so close to the harbour, kids playground and a nice walk into the main street for cafes, shops and beach access. The property has everything you could need while on holidays - the kids toys were very much appreciated, plenty of beach equipment to use and the kitchen is well kitted out too! Rooms were large, comfy beds and the living area and outdoor area very spacious too. My family have been coming to Whangamata for over 50 years & this was our first time staying somewhere other than my families homes, so it was a pleasure to stay somewhere that felt so homely, just like our own! The hosts Lorraine & Tony had great communication and we appreciated their flexibility 😊

NZA wonderful location, nice and close to the water. The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean and tidy. The beds and bedding were super comfy...and the little chocolates were a lovely touch. 100% recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.
AUHuge spacious house with everything you need for a fabulous holiday & a stunning outlook to the water. Kitchen & laundry was really well equipped that makes a stay even better. Close to the Ocean club for meals, beach walks & town. Wished we booked longer.
NZWe love the peace and beauty of the Harbour end of Whangamata, and Anchor watch was the perfect location. We were very comfortable as it felt we were in Tony and Lorraine s home. Everything had been thought of and lots of extras beside. The beds were comfortable. The shower was great, and the whole place was tastefully and comfortably furnished. We would love to return.

TV not working and ranch door was difficult to open and shut. But the hosts tried to solve these issues but unfortunately not before we left.

There should be more information provided on the listing on what is provided at the property, like hair dryer, iron, ironing board etc. Also we just needed more instruction about the rubbish and no rubbish bags provided.
