L emplacement est très bien. La maison est une ancienne villa de style colonial très bien décorée. Le responsable est très agréable et sérieuse.

La maison mérite une rénovation et un entretien. Les équipements sont vieux et pas confortables. Il faudrait que celle belle maison soit entretenue ce qui n est pas le cas. Les photos sur le site ne sont pas actuelles car elles ne reflètent pas la réalité.

L'emplacement dans un quartier de Stone town. Le charme du mobilier ancien et de la maison Pas très cher..

Arrivée tardive a 23h (l'hôtel était prévenu.) L'hôtel était fermé. Heureusement notre taxi a pu passer un appel local et un monsieur de la maison a côté est venu nous ouvrir..Aucune bouteille d'eau dans la chambre. Un frigo qui ne marche pas dans les parties communes Il nous restait un fond de gourde de l'aéroport qui nous a tenu jusqu'au lendemain. Aucune explication : bouton pour déclencher l'eau chaude à l'extérieur de la chambre que nous n'avions pas vu.... Petit déjeuner correct... Hotel qui mériterait une vraie rénovation.

Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoß, einfach aber sauber gehalten. Es handelt sich um ein altes Gebäude. Die Lage ist sehr gut, sehr nahe der Altstadt Stone Town. Das Frühstück war relativ vielfältig und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis so gesehen in Ordnung. Waren nur eine Nacht.

Es handelt sich wie gesagt um ein altes Gebäude, unterschwellig leicht modriger Geruch, allerdings hatten wir das letzte Zimmer bekommen, vielleicht sind die in der oberen Etage besser.

The breakfast was nice. The location Very nice.

The bathroom was smelly a lot. We needed to keep the windows open which was sth challenging since there was no screen and all mosquitoes were coming inside. Generally the hotel is very old and definitely needs restoration. The furniture and the decoration is old too, which is annoying and smelly.

The communication, negative behaviour. Unfortunately we were not able to stay due to us not feeling safe. Caretaker was hostile, intense in his interactions and making us feeling unsafe trying to resolve the simple issue. Owner initial engaged by text then refused to answer our messages or calls while we were waiting for a response for an hour in the reception area. We could clearly see he was interacting with the caretaker on the phone but wouldn't talk to us. All the misunderstanding due to room costing the same price for one or two people and we were happy to pay the tourist tax for both. Caretaker insisted that we pay extra and more for the room, which we later agreed but only wanted cash, wouldn't offer a receipt and declined card payment for our proof of payment.

The breakfast was lovely, fresh and delicious, fresh fruit, toast and coffee. The house was quiet, safe and I felt welcomed by the wonderful house manager. It is historic and beautifully decorated. For the price, it was a lovely stay.

As with all properties in Zanzibar, due to the climate there may be a smell of damp. This is impossible to avoid, and I think you just need to manage your expectations.
