The host is a friendly and warm-hearted lady. The location is excellent—right near the whirlpool attraction, where you can not only watch the tidal whirlpools but also go fishing. It takes about 30 minutes by car to reach the ferry terminal 。The interior is comfortable, and there is an outdoor dining area and lawn. If I had to mention a minor downside, it's that the unit is a semi-basement. While there's no issue with lighting, the washing machine does not have a drying function, and there's no suitable place to hang clothes to dry. Also, the bed linens are a bit old and feel somewhat rough. However, the bed itself is very comfortable, and we slept very well.

Good clean comfortable apartment. Easy walking distance to the maelstrom if that’s what you came for. You won’t be disappointed.

Close to the maelstrom and the bridge from where you can check it but also the northern lights, its a great base for exploring the area. The apartment has two toilets, which can be convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped.

The apartment is a partial basement which means there is not much light if there is no sun and there were only individual lamps everywhere so you could not light the whole room. This was not a problem, but this could be improved. Each room had a sleeping couch where you could sit and relax but there was no common room where we all could sit together unless you got a kitchen chair or sat on the ground, so for some this may be inconvenient.
