"Okay but not great."

It is a nice setting and the family suite is spacious.

The fact that the manager/owner was drunk when we arrived. Although I informed a lady before hand that we will check in quite late, it was akward to be welcomed by a drunk man. The housekeeping was not up to standard, only one toilet paper roll provided for 4 adults for a 2 night stay, no dish towels. The steel staircase to the suite is very steep and for adults and children a possible risk. The suite was fairly clean but could have been better. Mosquitoes was a reality at night, there is no window with a sieve or a fan that can help. We were the only guests for the weekend and one got the impression everything is not okay at this establishment.. The access road of about 5 km to the lodge is okay but one needs to travel slow. All eateries or restaurants are not close by if you opt not to do self catering. We could not explore the game or hikes on the property as we had a family wedding but were told it is worthwhile. Will not be back unfortunately.
