essendo a pian terreno e affacciandosi su una strada non è stato possibile tenere le finestre aperte l'aria condizionata era solo nella cucina e la sua posizione non permetteva di rinfrescare anche la camera da letto

Nice appartement on the ground floor of a lovely old building, brand new furniture, quiet, WIFI works, everything ok. It should be mentioned that the place lies within a ZTL (Zone of limited traffic) and can only be reached by car from 01:00 - 11:00 in summer. This is no big problem because the next parking lot is not far away, but one should not ignore the traffic signs!

Central, but no parking lot. There's a relatively cheap surveilled parking nearby. All electric worked - only: the boiler takes its time to get heated but no big deal. No central heating, but the ac works as such, thus not that efficient. Bedroom stayed cold (autumn). There's a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby, also a lot to discover if you're interested in history. Venice is a short boat/ bus ride away (approx. 1h 20).

Never met the guy that rent the place. Asked via Booking for a phone number / whatsapp but never had a callback or any response. Had a whatsapp msg before I arrived, + had once a request for the id cards, but had never ever a feedback. Same as we left the residence - no feedback, no thank you, no goodbye... This lack of contact and interest toward us (or guests in general) made the whole experience unpersonal and in my opinion unprofessional. We were 4 people but there were just 2 towels (and some small face towels). There was no shampoo for the guests. The closets were a bit smelly, thus the blankets and sheets also. The main bed's got a cheap thin coil mattress which is real noisy and uncomfortable, so was the bed sofa. The rooms were somewhat clean, but there were stains on the side boards and broken furnitures with sharp edges - my child had a cut on a plastic closet - at least put on some tape. The cupboards and fridge had old stuff inside from previous guests. The toilet leaks water - you have to tap gently on the button to stop it. We went in a restricted traffic zone where a photo radar takes pictures, we only had a message that the traffic flow for tourists "isn't that clear", but locals told us we will surely get a fine for driving into such restricted zone to unload our luggage. Locals wondered how the host doesn't know about such local law restrictions and so do I... We wondered why we had to leave 16 Eur tourist tax on the kitchen table, on the booking site was written that taxes were included, at least, we never had to pay those additionally in any other B&B. The biggest disappointment was probably the lack of fee internet! Ok, I took it for granted but on second look - it was advised, but I really can't imagine a B&B without such service! All in all: I think I'm gonna learn from this mistake from now on. It wasn't bad, but neither was it good. I expected a bit "more" for the price, imho.iu
