The apartment is so cute inside and out , we really like that we could open al the curtains and se outside bit nobody from outside could see in.Also the amenities, the fact that it offers laundry room and kitchen is great. We like that we had a cat greeting us every day and came to visit us. We love it! Dave and Rosa

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this property, which, unfortunately, felt like a complete scam. Upon arrival, we found the property in a neglected state—unclean, poorly maintained, and with a communal pool that was far from usable. It looked abandoned, and the overall condition was unacceptable. While the architecture of the property is interesting, the actual room feels like a box. You can open the doors on the sides, but there are no mosquito nets, meaning all insects enter the room freely, making it very uncomfortable to sleep or relax. Additionally, there was a strong smell of humidity throughout the space, which made the stay even more unpleasant. We immediately contacted the owner to address these issues and give them an opportunity to resolve the situation before posting a negative review. The owner assured us that everything would be taken care of the next day. While some minor improvements were made, the property remained far below acceptable standards, prompting us to escalate the matter to Booking.com. After their intervention, we were informed that a partial refund of 7,026.69 MXN would be issued as travel credit. However, this amount has yet to appear in our account. Shockingly, as soon as we received confirmation of this partial refund, the owner messaged us, stating that we were no longer welcome on the property and had to vacate immediately. Despite the fact that he was still holding 10,541 MXN of our payment, he refused to let us stay. When we insisted on staying, given the substantial amount we had paid, he threatened to call the police if we did not leave immediately. Being on holiday—and as I was unwell with a fever at the time—we did not want to deal with the local authorities under these stressful circumstances, so we were forced to leave. This left us not only with a loss of 10,541 MXN for what was essentially a one-night stay in a terrible environment but also with unexpected costs for alternative accommodation.

The concept of Invisible Loft Experience can be GREAT....but....

Some facts: -The location is not called Invisible Loft Experience but Chay. Before you have learned this you already losse some time. Why? I do not know. -There is no reception -You get notified about the keybox FAR too late, especially when you arrive late. -You receive a code for your keybox but they do not send the number of the room so you have to check ALL keyboxes whether the code is the proper one -It is almost funny but there are no room numbers...really. Just try the key. It looks like the accomodation is not completely ready or finished. All of this can be prevented with some proper communication.
