Loughcrew Courtyard House

- Surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. - Great view of the stars through the sky lights. - Nice fireplace. - The housekeeping staff are lovely.

- No curtains or blinds on the sky lights in 2 of 3 rooms, so we woke to the sunlight around 5am. - A skylight was left open directly over a bed on a rainy day. We couldn't reach to close the window so it took a long time to find something we could reach with (and only managed as we're very tall). - Stains on the blankets. Thick layer of dust on all the higher surfaces. - Only has phone reception in some areas.

The setting was amazing, and noting we were out of season, it felt like we had the whole country house to ourselves! Really loved sitting out in the sun in the courtyard for breakfasts and dinners.

A few lightbulbs out of service.

The location was perfect for my trip. The house had everything I needed and was a great place for my dog. The hosts had the heating on for my arrival which made it very welcoming and cosy. The area offered nice walks and was pet friendly which is great to find. Myself and my dog loved our stay here and would highly recommend the place.

Great stay for our two employees, suited all their needs.

Beautiful grounds, eclectic decor, cosy log fires.

Small issue with phone signal/wifi but this is typical of traditional stone buildings.

The location was fantastic

There was no freezer or ice box, no sweeping brush

Wifi coverage through out the stay could have been better, as it affected our ability to work from home. The hosts did get someone out to check and remediate the issue but it would only work for a couple of hours in the day.
