Apartments Green Paradise

Location was excellent - great views, peaceful, just a short walk into the town centre.

The check-in/key collection was slightly unclear. The property description/instructions didn't match how the property actually was - we had to ring the office for additional help. In the end the keys were handed over in person by the property owner. She was really friendly and spoke good Italian/German, but only limited English.

Overall, our stay at this accommodation had its ups and downs. The location was undoubtedly excellent, conveniently close to shops and major tourist spots like Lake Bohinj, Lake Bled, Vogel, Triglav National Park, and Savica waterfall. The apartment itself was clean, the windows sound proof and the bathroom was comfortable.

However, the bedrooms were quite tiny, and the beds weren't comfortable. Additionally, the lack of adequate pillows (only one provided) was disappointing. Despite the advertisement and photos showing amenities like a coffee machine, shower gel, and shampoo, these were missing during our stay. Furthermore, the promised barbecue was unusable due to a car constantly parked nearby. The pictures are a bit misleading.

Messages don't seem to get through to the host on Booking website/app so questions are never answered, and the old couple on site don't speak any English, so if it wasn't for coincidentally one of us speaks some Italian, communication would have been almost impossible - and communication was necessary for things like the light in one of the bedrooms was broken, and slippers were not readily available in the apartment.

Very old furniture, apartment is old and smelly. Electricity problems, we stayed there for 4 days and by the evening there was no electricity for 5 min.

Older bathroom but still relatively OK No spices and basic non-perishable foods such as tea, oil, sugar, salt, etc. It would really help.

The location about ten minutes from lake Bohinj is very good. The view from the balcony was lovely and it had everything needed - parking, a kitchen and pans, a fridge etc. It was clean and also peaceful, but close to shops and some cafes abd restaurants. The hosts were friendly and responsive.

The accommodation is quietly located and only a short drive away from all places of interest. The family was really friendly and welcoming. Kitchen was well equipped.

Nothing major but the bathroom could use a little TLC. The shower doors didn't fully close which let to the bathroom floor getting a bit wet and the shower head holder was a little loose so it wouldn't always stay in the right postion.

The family hosting us was very nice and helpful, they also allowed us to use the grill to barbecue. The property and the garden looked neat and well-tended. We liked having a fully equipped kitchen to prepare and eat our breakfasts and dinners.

In the room with the twin beds I would suggest to replace the mattresses as they were sagging and tighten the bed-screws to prevent squeaking. Bedside tables would be a nice addition. Despite this, I would book again!
