Location, warm, clean

Chocolate fish seen better days! 😁 may have been all the rain. Wasn’t too keen on bathroom outside, probably because of weather, but it was clean, modern & excellent shower pressure.

Didn't realise the bathroom/ toilet was separate and outside, not ideal. Probably our fault thought it was more of a motel type situation However the decor and furnishings tasteful and just lovely.

I didn’t expect the separate bathroom which was a few steps outside. But it was so clean and beautiful it didn’t really matter.

Very cozy and comfortable.

A few bugs in the detached bathroom, but otherwise perfect.

The room was only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town

having to walk across a private backyard to the bathroom, this was indicated on the 15th photo :(, fortunately it was nice weather for the middle of the night trip to the bathroom

Property description misleading. This is not an apartment but a very small 1 room bungalow in the back of the hosts backyard. Bathroom is separate at the opposite side if backyard. TV only set up for Netflix therefore you need an account. They don't want you to have food there so you don't make the ro smell. They ask you keep it sealed. Thought it was expensive for what you are getting.

The room itself is really clean and finished to a high standard. The staff leave you alone which is important as this is an area at the back of their garden. The owners left a really comprehensive guide to Matamata, which we used a lot and was very accurate for the places we tried!

Bathroom facilities were really nice, again finished well. The only minor issue is that it isn’t attached to the main room, so if it’s raining you’ll get wet! Other thing we found was that it wasn’t advertised too well. We had the address, but nothing made it clear that there is actually a B&B there
