Savet Family Homestay & Tour

It was a good balance of rural and close to town. Savet was very kind and his family was so attentive. Nice nature sounds while sleeping. Yummy breakfast.

Make sure you are prepped for no AC, was manageable but difficult when 42 degrees. They provided good and powerful fans

Savet and family home stay was amazing they embrace you as family for the time you are there. They are attentive to your needs. Location is slightly out of the city but very easy to get to on tuk tuk that you can book via gran or family can help. Savet also arranges pick up, he offers a village tour and we were lucky with other guests to join his family new year celebrations which was so much fun and they all embraced so so warmly. While lack of AC may put you off it was much cooler than I expected and the three fans in the room does a good job and sitting by balcony is cool and there are always cold drinks available. Bamboo train ride is just walking distance but you can also take a tuk tuk to much futher one.

Tout! Savet et sa famille sont absolument adorables. Le logement est super mignon, spacieux et propre. Le petit dej impeccable. Savet nous a aidé pour réserver nos bus à l'arrivée et au départ de son logement et a tout arrangé pour qu'on vienne nous chercher et qu'on nous ramène. Royal. Aussi nous voulions faire un cours de cuisine et il nous a proposé de le faire avec sa femme, encore mieux ! Il nous a emmené au marché local, on a cueilli des plantes dans son jardin pour cuisiner 3 plats typiques différents, c'était un super moment avec Savet et sa femme on a adoré !! Il nous a aussi organisé un tour de tuktuk comme on voulait le faire. On a aussi pu discuter avec Savet qui nous a beaucoup appris de la culture Cambodgienne. Si vous voulez une expérience authentique et dans un esprit familial, un peu "comme un à la maison" allez-y les yeux fermés !

My friend and I stayed at Savet Family for 3 nights, and it was simply one of my best experiences in Cambodia! The welcome was incredibly warm, we immediately felt at home. Savet is a very caring and generous person: he spent a whole day showing us his world, his village, and the local way of life, a truly authentic experience! On the second day, we were also lucky to have a French-speaking guide, which made the experience even more enriching and enjoyable. He also helped us a lot in organizing our activities, giving great advice and arranging tuk-tuks for us, which made our stay really easy. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a genuine, authentic experience full of meaningful encounters!

Savet is an excellent host - friendly, generous and welcoming. The accommodation was lovely and authentic, with clean and ample facilities. We joined a cycling tour run by Savet which was excellent, and the breakfast each morning was amazing! He is very responsive and happy to help.
