Carshalton Country Escape

I was not ready for the absolute beauty of this place! No words or pictures will do justice to this place. Its something that needs to be experienced. From the amazing views to this fabulous home everything was exceptional. The facilities were fantastic. Richard was so helpful and always so pleasant. The rooms and kitchen were fully equiped with everything and more you might need. It was an amazing stay. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location and views. House is fully equipped. Hot tub was great for the kids on rainy days! Richard is a gem and so helpful! Gorgeous waterfall up the road to have a swim too!

We had the most amazing stay! The place was peaceful and secluded, just what we needed to unwind and escape the busy city life. Even though it felt like a hidden gem, it was super easy to find. Our host was already waiting for us by the gate when we arrived which was such a warm and thoughtful touch. Right from the start, we felt so welcomed. The host took time to show us around and explained how everything worked. It was pretty chilly during our stay but they made sure we had plenty of firewood to keep warm. Richard was also there to help us get the fire going and was always available if we had any questions. Now let’s talk about the place itself—wow! The view of the dam was absolutely stunning especially during sunset and sunrise. We even found some condiments in the kitchen and a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us which was such a sweet surprise and made our first evening extra special. The house was spotless and they really thought of everything. There were enough towels, extra blankets and cosy throws for our group of 10. They even had a second fridge, which was super handy for all our food and drinks. We felt completely safe and comfortable the whole time we were there. We loved every minute of our stay and we are already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend this place.

The location was in a secluded area, which was ideal for us as we tend to be loud. Richard was extremely helpful and welcoming, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job—we truly enjoyed having them around.

We encountered some challenges with the dishware and other bowls during our stay. Although we were a group of 12, there were fewer than seven glasses available. Additionally, we were unable to find large bowls for serving food, which required us to improvise each time we prepared meals. Furthermore, the tissue supply was not adequately distributed, which caused some inconvenience. However, aside from these issues, everything else was satisfactory.

Loved the jacuzzi, the house itself it’s huge and so neat. All the rooms are tidy and gorgeous. It’s so serene and comfortable.

The road getting there was a bit rough for about 4kms and the potholes are really bad. We actually had a puncture leaving the facility.
