Onehouse Resort Lansdowne

It was a great experience in Onehouse Resorts Lansdowne. The location is perfect, the rooms are of big size, Bigger size windows offer full view of hills and landscape. The adjacent hill top offers a mesmerizing view of the mountains.

Food is costly compared to the level of the resort and its amenities. Though it was tasty

Resort needs small improvements in facilities and food which have been informed to the owner who has taken them positively.

The food is Delicious. The location is mind-boggling. During my stay here I feel like I have known the host for a very long time - very friendly. Helpful, friendly, and courteous. The staff is polite and takes care of your every small/big need. The rooms have big windows to enjoy the spectacular views and sunset & are spacious enough, the washroom was big and super clean.

We were a group of 5 adults looking for a weekend getaway and the hotel provided just that. The room was big with 2 large beds and an extra mattress was also provided for the 5th person to sleep. Additionally electric mats to make the bed warm was also provided to make it more comfortable. The room had a big balcony and the view was great too. Staff was always up for service and never delayed any requests be it for food (in room service) or setting up tables on roof for drinks and food. Nights were lively with music and born fires to accommodate every one. Food options were good too . We stayed in the property and hill top access was there to watch sunrise with a 2 minute trek. Space was available to play cricket (plastic bat) , chess , carom and badminton. Host Manish was very friendly and responded to every request of ours. I recommend this stay if someone is looking for a quite comfortable stay for the weekend away from commotion.

The location is not in middle of Lansdowne but about 2 KMs from it. The food bill is pretty steep but given the supply route being difficult, cost is understandable. The road to parking is a bit tough for cars but manageable. Wifi is not good so if you are thinking of remote work it won't be possible. Not for senior citizens who have are not willing to climb stairs.

Hotel and staff is good.

Stay is not in lansdowne. It's 11 kilometer far from actual lansdowne.

Hospitality

Approach to the hotel is poorly maintained and somewhat unsafe.

The location of the resort is quite amazing since it overlooks a valley. You can relax in your balcony sipping tea and enjoy the sunset. A 5 minute trek will take you to the top of the hill where you have panoramic view of the Himalayas. All this is exponentially complimented by Manish who owns the property and is a great conversationalist. His passion towards hospitality is seen in his level of service where for him his guests are always priority. Food is great too if you just looking to relax and spend majority of your time in the hotel and enjoy the activities in the hotel. I hope that I get to return to the property.
