Jan’s home made sourdough and preserves were amazing . There was also cereal and yogurt which we didn’t need

Convenient to have time with oyster farmers and their e.Coli issue in the local river. - very disappointing not to get fresh oysters in what is supposed to be 100% Pure NZ

It was very cosy and the owner was lovely. She gave us good ideas for meals and places of interest. She cooks a lovely loaf of bread on arrival. Highly recommended

Jan was exceptional 👏. We were made to feel very welcome and it felt like a home away from home. The apartment was clean, excellent amenities, a gorgeous garden and extra touches like home made bread, jam and muselli made this an extra special stay. Definitely coming back. Thank you - came home so refreshed.

I couldn't find anything not to like.

A lovely spot to stay while visiting friends in Mangawhai. We felt well looked after and appreciated the thoughtful touches like the homemade sourdough bread. Very quiet and peaceful. Comfortable beds.
