The room that we were moved to was a decent size, had all the amenities, and was relatively clean. Our kids loved the pool, playground and facilities. Overall, we had a comfortable stay but would try other similar motel/cottages in the area instead of this establishment in the future.

The initial room we booked for had a really strong musty, wet carpet smell which would have been unbearable for our 3 night stay as a family of 4. When we asked for another room the man at the front desk did not believe me and said it was due to the area receiving non stop rain the past couple of days and said no other rooms were available. When we pressed to change rooms due to the length of our stay, the man said there was another room available but that we would have a pay an additional USD $130+ in total which was a bit unfair as it wasn't our fault that the room we booked was unclean and no other similar priced/sized rooms were available on the property. Since we were already charged for our stay before our arrival, we reluctantly had to accept the additional charges as we were unsure if we would be refunded properly or could find vacancies in other properties in the area.

No handicap access for the pool -only a ladder - needs stairs-into the pool-rooms are small

Great location if you want to hike the white mountains (you'll still need a car to go through). In an area of very expensive lodging, you can't beat heir price. Also with a swimming pool and a small area to play soccer etc.

It is basic, and a bit old. But it was perfectly fine for us.

The location is perfect for us, and the price can't be beat. Our little cottage was cute, clean enough, and had good hot water. I liked the screened in porch, and picnic table and fire pit outside. The owners are super nice, and accommodating. They have firewood for sale right there for an evening fire.

Our number one complaint (and unfortunately what will keep us from coming back) is the smell. We were overwhelmed by a chemical like smell in our room. After doing some looking around, we realized it was moth balls that had been dumped all through our room. We removed what we could, but there was like 100 of them in behind the sink area that we couldn't get out. I could tolerate it, my husband could not. If it wasn't for that, we'd be back all the time. Maybe something can be done. I can understand them being outside and under the porch. But not inside. Also, the first night we were there, the owner was in our room for over an hour at around 9pm, because he had to call the satellite company because our TV wouldn't work. I appreciated that he was willing to help, it was just super inconvenient. He blamed the prior customers for unplugging the receiver, but come to find out, it was a loose/faulty outlet.

I love the little cottages-they have a grill and a fire pit and the screened porch.

The ac didn’t cool it off and the pool was filthy. The ac made a horrible noise and woke me up at 330 in the morning. Found hair in the sink.

Owner was a very nice guy.. looking forward to a return visit 😀
