The hosts were really kind and accommodating to us. They were polite and helpful, making our stay very wholesome and comfortable. They really did their best to make sure we were doing okay as guests. We were very happy with this.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Misleading Listing and Unpleasant Experience at Safari Homestay, Fort Kochi Dear Booking.com Team, I am writing to express my disappointment and file a formal complaint regarding a very unpleasant experience during my recent stay booked through your platform. On the night of April 5th, I had a confirmed booking at Safari Homestay, Fort Kochi, which was clearly listed on your website as an air-conditioned property. However, upon arriving at the property around 11 PM, the host informed us that air conditioning was not included in the price and demanded extra payment for it. Not only was this misleading, but the host also insisted that I cancel the booking on Booking.com and instead pay him directly — a total of ₹800 — even though my confirmed booking showed ₹625 as the total amount including all charges. We were extremely tired and unwell after our journey and did not have the energy to argue. Shockingly, the host used my phone to cancel the booking himself. At checkout, he even refused to provide a bill for the payment made. I have attached a photo of the check-in register showing my personal details as evidence. This experience was deeply unprofessional and distressing, and I believe it reflects poorly on Booking.com’s vendor vetting and listing accuracy. I request that you investigate this matter seriously and take appropriate action against the property and host to ensure this doesn’t happen to any other customer in the future. It's very pleasant and peaceful stay there is no any disturbance and location is very near to fort kochi beach Property maintained well very clean and neat Friendly owner and it's really a budget friendly trust this review it's very near and peaceful and value for money.I love it ❤️

Comfortable stay and good customer service

I didn't stay, after arriving and seeing the place I decided not to stop there. Lucky for me I didn't pay in advance so no refund was needed.

It just didn't feel right and there wasn't even a sign outside so I thought it was a scam 😕 Maybe you should contact the owner a ask what's going on.
