Historic Center Apartment

Such a unique and memorable experience. Really good price in a beautiful location! The host was kind and approachable and the check in/out process was quick and easy!

The coffee machine was temperamental and we are the type who really need good coffee in the morning. The water tank can be loud when you are using the facilities, but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Ease of entry. Thoughtful welcome provisions. Coffee machine. The price.

Difficult access from train station with luggage (202 steps to negotiate of which no warning given) & no directions for walking. Dangerous conditions inside apartment...plugs overloaded, serious hazard of falling off both sides of mezzanine floor...with useless attempts to prevent falls by flimsy post attachment to slack ropes slung across the 2 drops!. Poor kitchen resources...no tea towels for drying dishes, no paper towel, no milk, no kettle, no microwave, broken handle to shower/toilet room, no heat downstairs, no opening windows or ventilation.

The location is absolutely ideal in a rather quiet area thats only a short walk from the historic center. The Cave vibe is indeed very cozy and i slept pretty well. The price was a total catch and theres plenty of space.

Hot water didnt work, the place was pretty damp which isnt super surprising considering that its basically a rock cellar, so for a longer stay its maybe not ideal to leave the clothes out. the bed was also slightly damp at the top end and in the kitchen you cant keep salt or tea or anything else that draws moisture out.

Free parking and close to center

Smelled like wet stone (basement). It seems that at one point, it was a basement. There was a locked door that could be the entrance to the flat above. The bed is apparently just a few feet away from the toilet of the residents, so you hear them use it. Shower is overflowing instantly.

The location is not bad. The free car perking near the property was good.

1. The host said they sent the check-in information via WhatApp, but as it didn't arrive by the time we checked-in, we had to wait outside for more than an hour. 2. The host does not speak a word of English, so the communication was hard. 3. There were roaches in the bathroom which we had to catch and throw them. 3. The neighboring guests came to our room through the middle door. 4. There is always bad smell of urine. 5. Noisy at night from the upstairs and the next door. 5. the neighborhood is not the cleanest.

The bed was very comfortable, nice place to stay 🙂 Also, loads of free parking space close by. If you like cats there is quite a lot of them outside 🐱

It's a strange setting, but well equipped with the bedroom in a kind of cave. Easy access and good nearby public parking are advantages.

There is only a locked door to another apartment and so you could hear every noise from there and presumably vice versa. Within the apartment there are various single steps. The city has a steep layout and you have to go down a lot of stairs even to reach a restaurant.

The accommodation is very uniquely characterful. Almost like being inside a cave (especially the bedroom). The living room has very high ceilings whereas the bedroom is very low. Situated in the old historic centre, the house is close to restaurants and shops. There's free on street car parking a one minute walk away.

There are no windows that you can look out of, but remember you're in a cave!
