Central Bucharest Retreat

A lovely and very helpful host. We've had a couple of issues during our stay and he went above and beyond to resolve them. We really appreciated some chilled water in the fridge and coffee available on arrival as well.

The apartment is located on the ground floor and because of the way the building is constructed, there's pretty much no daylight. The only window faces the courtyard, with neighbors passing regularly a meter away - we felt the need to have the curtains closed the whole time. The flat is also realty poorly insulated for sound, so you not only realize that a neighbor is talking, but can often hear every word they say. In our case it meant waking up at 4 am to somebody's radio. We realize the host cannot do much about it, but it's worth knowing in case you're a light sleeper like me.

This little studio had plenty of room in its clean and inviting atmosphere. Also, it's out of the hustle but within walking distance of the tourist locations.

I had a lovely stay at this accommodation. The location is fantastic – very close to the old town and easily walkable. The flat itself is spacious and spotlessly clean. A real bonus was that all the basics were provided, including toiletries, which meant I didn’t need to buy anything for just a short stay. You have also a bottle of wine in the fridge!!! Unfortunately, the weather during my visit was dreadful, but they had thoughtfully left an umbrella for me, which was incredibly useful! I was also allowed to leave my suitcase in the apartment until 2pm, even though checkout was at 11am. This was greatly appreciated, as it meant I could enjoy a final walk around the area without having to carry my luggage. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay!

If I had to mention something slightly negative, it would be that, as it’s on the ground floor, the flat doesn’t get a lot of natural light. But to be honest, I only used it in the evenings, so it wasn’t a big deal at all!

The house has absolutely every detail.

The washing machine is confusing to operate, and the view from the window is quite unpleasant.

It was a pleasant stay! Our room was warm all day and very clean. The host was polite and helpful with everything we needed. Most importantly at a convenient location! Totally recommended!!

Excellent location very close to the metro piata unirii. Shops nearby for your daily needs including Carrefour supermarket. The apartment was very clean. The owner welcomed us with a bottle of wine and water in the fridge plus toiletries. Although it is a 1 bedroom apartment it is well equipped. He was ready to help when we had an issue. Highly recommended, whether its for business or leisure.

I would suggest that in the kitchen, preferably there will be a small juicer to squeeze oranges, but for the rest everything was great.

Was really impressed with this apartment, we found it easy to gain entry and the apartment is on the ground floor so very accessible. The location was great, a very short walk into the old town and there was a small shop right next door. We found it very quick to order Ubers from the front door to any locations further away. The apartment was so well stocked, there was a hairdryer, iron, clothes, steamer, coffee machine with coffee pods and the bathroom had everything we needed too. It made such a difference arriving and not having to go to the shop to buy anything for our stay. There was a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge too! Overall I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Bucharest, fantastic value for money.

The apartment is on the ground floor so there isn't a lot of natural light but that did not bother us for our short stay
