Residence Indochine Suite

Precio razonable. Habitaciones limpias y tranquilas. La comida estaba deliciosa. Hotel muy popular.

We had a fabulous room on the 1st floor with a great view of the swimming pool. The service was excellent, the staff couldn't be more helpful. A lot of tour service, we booked tour to visit some temples in Siem Reap.

Breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly. The view of the pool was lovely, and the double bed was spacious. The reception staff were very helpful and informative.

Great location for relaxing, very comfortable and spacious rooms, very good restaurant and above all, great friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff.

Food, beverage, service, hospitality there is never any area left wanting. Can't recommend highly enough.

What an oasis this place is! Honestly, as inviting as the photos are of this accommodation, internally and externally, they just don't do it justice. The air con works beautifully. The shower is hot. There's a fridge and the wi-fi is fast. The bed is comfortable, with a net to protect you from the mozzies, and the hotel and its wonderful young staff keep the entire property so clean and spotless, and nothing is too much trouble for them. There's plenty of towels in the room and they are normal size (I've read where people have stayed at hotels that offer little more than a fig leaf to dry themselves!) The tours here are much cheaper here than anywhere else I've seen advertised (beware the tuk-tuk drivers who take you from the bus terminal to the hotel - their prices and promises are inflated). My advice is don't commit until you have done your research! The meals are delicious, and cheaper than you will find in the centre of town. And there's a plethora of mini and larger marts along 7 Makara Rd. There's even one that offers Westerners their favourite home comforts - even Vegemite for the Aussies! Mind, you, these products come at a price, but I did purchase dairy products because I figure it's worth the few extra $$ to avoid belly (or backside) blues. Now to the pool - OMG it is divine. Perfect water temperature, and always offers partial shade at most points during the day (this may not be to everyone's taste but that's my kind of pool, but there are constant sunny spots too if that's your thing). RIS is situated about a 10 minute walk from the bus station but the tuk-tuk is free so take advantage of it! Generally, it is a 25 minute easy stroll into the centre of town. But a tuk-tuk is only $1USD to 'the bridge' which is basically the beginning of the city centre anyway.

This place is advertised as TWO different places on Booking.com - Residence Indochine Suites and Residence Indochine d' Angkor - don't ask me why but just be aware of this. I personally found this anomaly very confusing and distressing (because Id booked with the latter and then cancelled and then paid in advance for RIS) and thought I was up for yet another communications highland fling with B.C. because the property was saying I hadn't cancelled but yes, it all turned out OK in the end.

Everything about this accommodation is perfect. The WiFi, the comfy bed, the hot shower, the amazing staff, the surroundings, the pool, the air-con, the cheap and varied tours to Angkor Wat and beyond, the cheap but delicious meals and snacks, the beautiful peaceful ambience of both the room, and the outside areas. I feel like I've died and gone to heaven :)

This accommodation goes under two names so made for quite some confusion and stress for me so be alert to this. Residence Indochine Suites and Residence Indochine D'angkor are one and the same place!

Le comfort de la piscine et de la chambre ont été les bienvenus après les journées de visite à Angkor. Personnel très sympathique et à l'écoute. Petit déjeuner copieux, et bonne cuisine au restaurant de l'hôtel.
