The location is probably the best possible location in Reikiavik. The house is super well prepared and heated. Fits 6 people perfectly

The water has a funny smell that can be uncomfortable. It was also wonderful to have a microwave as well.

Host was great with responding to any questions and let us check in early!

The unit was newly-refurbished I guess so. Everything was good. Very good location in the heart of Reykjavik.

Apartment wasn’t very clean and the heating on the floor was not very warm. The apartment was quite cold. Another thing was parking is in Zone 1 which is the most expensive zone. Not easy to find parking and can only park for max 3 hours but can park till next morning after 9pm. Zone 2 & zone 3 parking can be found a few streets away from the apartment.

This is a fantastic location to walk the town and really explore the area restaurants and activities. On this trip we stayed at 4 different locations in multiple countries and we all said that the beds at this place were the most comfortable. In fact all of the furnishings were high end and very comfortable including the sofa and chairs. The place was clean and seemed like new. We loved everything about the place. The only thing that we think could be done better is the check in process. We were given a code of which we confused initially with the booking.com code. We received so many emails from this booking about Iceland being safe to travel, sometimes multiple a day even while we were already on location, that the truly important email must have gotten buried. Send what is needed, but reassuring people that it is safe to travel is not necessary. It was honestly overwhelming. Other than a minor glitch in communications and getting in, this place was 5 star all around. Highly recommend it!

Modern and welcoming furnishings were so nice to come back to after a long day out. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat at home. We loved the views of the street from the second level. We could even see a glimpse of the church! The restaurant across the road was so cozy and convenient. We were within 10 minutes walk of the church, the pool, the Harpa, the rainbow road… it was a great location.

People walking along the street in the early hours of the morning were noisy at times, it didn’t bother us, but it was there! It’s just the payoff for being so central in town!
