ArkaBarka Floating Hostel

Hostel with a really convenient location. There are bus stops nearby, so it’s easy to get to the old part of Beograde, as well as towards to Zemun and the airport. Super handy for exploring the city. The hostel has a great vibe — cozy, friendly, and welcoming. The staff are really nice and always ready to help.The room was small but clean and cozy. The AC worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver. Also, the breakfast was really tasty and a great way to start the day before going out to explore.

The furniture is a bit worn out

Kesinlikle nehir üstünde konaklama fikri farklı idi, deneyimledik keyif aldık. Personel ilgili ve yardımsever idi. Odaların su üzerinde sallanması rahaztsızlık vermedi, manzara keyifli idi.

Öncelikle web sayfasındaki komum ile ilgili bir sorun yaşadık ve büyük bavullar ile çok uzun mesafe yürümek zorunda kaldık. Bu nednele konuma dikkat edilmeli. Nehir olduğu için sinek çok fazla idi. Bir de tesis küçük olduğu için nehri izleyerek sohbet edenlerin sesi odalara gelebiliyor.

The location was fabulous and so were the employees. Free public transportation was reliable and just a short walk from the hostel, plus the employees arranged taxis whenever we needed them. Also within easy walking distance were several restaurants, bars and watersports along the Danube. The ambiance of staying right on the river couldn't be beat; our balcony looked across the Danube toward a tree lined island and we were visited every morning by ducks, crows and swans! We also loved Leo the resident cat and the fact that there was recycling on site and soft beds.

The nearness of several drinking establishments did make it quite noisy until early morning on Friday and Saturday nights.
