Queenstown Mountain Vista

Great view. Short but steep walk from town. Parking at unit door

Property was decently sized and had everything we needed plus some. Great views and central to town.

Parking wasn’t ideal, not soundproof to other rooms or outside, was weird foods left from other guests which was off putting, their cleaning supplies were kept in the garage (should be out of sight)

The view is absolutely spectacular. It felt like a dream waking up to the Queenstown view right out of the window. It was also super easy for parking and getting the keys. Everything was smooth!

We loved our stay. There was plenty of space and it had all the facilities (including toys) we needed for us and our two young children. It was a great base for us to explore Queenstown and also spend some time at the property. It was close to the centre of Queenstown and the view over the lake from the balcony and main bedroom was beautiful. The staff were exceptionally helpful and prompt in their communication and went to the extra effort to provide toys for our children.

The walk up the hill from the centre of Queenstown is very steep. Great for the legs and your fitness but challenging if you’re not as mobile or have a lot of items to carry.

The view out of the living room and master bedroom was breath taking! Nice full kitchen with all the kitchen utensils and cookware to make a decent meal. Clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds that allows us to have a good rest after a long day full of activities. House rules are laid out clearly, the host has a friendly and open conversation with us, making checking-in and out very easy and simple.

The door to the toilet behind the laundry room when closed fully, you'll have to pull really hard to open. Bathroom extraction fan is quite loud, it might be better if there's a separate switch for the fan. There are time when I just wanted to do something quick in the bathroom without the need for the fan, esp. when it's so loud. The long steep hill to walk back from the town center... Not much the host can do about the location, and the host did warn us about the steep hill in the description, but still got a surprise when we saw how steep it was. On days when we didn't drive into town, that hill can be quite a challenge.
