We recently stayed at the “Resort” and were disappointed. Firstly, The bed was a double in a room large enough to take a king. The doona basically covered edge to edge which is not satisfactory. I asked for an additional pillow, and were given 2 oversized beanbags with mismatched pillowcases. I’ve seen on reviews that these rooms are replicating authentic Japanese living. The building itself has no Japanese heritage. Just because you throw some matting on the floor doesn’t mean you call it Japanese and use it as an excuse for a small bed and a tiny doona. I suggest if you don't feel you are a resort, you need to remove the word from the hotel name. My biggest complaint was the cleanliness. I didn't feel the room itself or the onsen were clean. Bedroom walls were badly marked and the vents in the onsen were disgusting. We went down to breakfast on the first day of our two days. Many of the dishes were approaching empty. Three sad fried eggs in one bain-marie looked like they’d been there a while. I had to go to reception and ask for some butter. The breakfast was totally inadequate and totally misrepresented. That afternoon we were approached by the front desk to say that there were fewer people staying over and they didn't want to open up the kitchen. So would we mind going to have breakfast at their restaurant in town the next morning on them? When checking out at 8 o'clock, the receptionist told us the cafe didn't open till 9. I paid for breakfast between 7 and 9 and we were never told that this option we had been presented with fell outside that time frame. So no breakfast. Add to this the aircon was on heat mode so the room was stifling. And we were told to take off our shoes, and put our feet into uncomfortable malformed vinyl slippers. Why, when we were walking on carpet stains. And the bedroom curtains didn't close properly.

Nous avons passe un séjour a 4 dans 2 chambres similaire. Très beau cadre, la dame a l accueil tres agréable et souriante. La chambre a etait libre vers 12h30 au lieu de 16h. Il y a des yakutad dans les chambres, Bon petit déjeuner. Dommage c’est pas possible de se rendre a pieds en ville si pas de voiture , obliger de prendre le taxis. Quand îl y en a . On s’est retrouver a attendre longtemps le taxi apres un appel a l’hotel pour nous aider car bloquer au restaurant ( le restaurant n'était pas ouvert au moment de notre reservation, cela n'étais pas stipuler sur booking). Le personnel de nuit na pas etait tres agréable avec nous apres notre appel et notre arrivee tardive a l’hotel en nous précisant quil nous avait attendu longtemps dehors et qui devais deja etre rentré chez lui a cette heure ci. Heureusement nous avons passé une soiree mémorable dans un restaurant où le personnel etait adorable.

Le fait que le restaurant etait ferme sans que sa soit indiquer sur booking.

El trato por parte de todo el personal fue maravilloso. Las instalaciones estaban sumamente cuidadas al detalle y tanto el hotel como el lugar son preciosos. Pero sin duda, lo mejor ha sido el trato recibido.

Beautiful, tranquil, warm and inviting. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was absolutely beautiful, inviting, clean, relaxing and the bed was so comfy☺️

Nice and quite location

Outdated rooms needs a renovation especially the Onsen Our shower was blocked initially but was semi functional the second day
