I would not say it is something negative but to clarify, the only bedroom is on mezzaine, the second bed is in fact foldable sofa bed in the living room - not the most comfy mattress for adults, but I guess it does not make too much difference for kids :)

Amazing apartment located in downtown Bari, great location with restaurants, bars, culture, and local folklore at walking distance. The apartment was clean and spacious. Our hostess Simone recommended great places to visit, and the communication was cleared and timely. I recommend this place to stay.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. 15 minute walk to train station. In the heart of the old town.

Bedroom is on the mezzanine with low ceiling.

Perfect location, comforts of home - coffee, pay TV, washing machine & ironing facilities, kitchen facilities, outdoor space, surprisingly quiet. Bathroom upstairs near bedroom as well as downstairs. Host, Simona, extremely helpful, great communication. Property true to photos on booking.com. Up one flight of stairs which is a good thing in old town as lots of people at street level.

Comfortable bed and pillow but would have loved an extra pillow and spare towels for 7 night stay - towels didn’t dry well as it rained a couple of nights.

The apartment was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect. Simona the host is beautiful and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Its a very old and characterful property so expect some sounds from neighbours above

Right in the heart of old town. Upon coming out of the property, you will see the women making the pasta. The authenticity, I super enjoyed it.

The stairs going to the room- have to be very careful. The floor when we walked- it creates a sound and we can hear the neighbors too but the host put an earplug against it though. Door- ir is difficult to close when going out. The host told us it’s their first time hearing it. Maybe I am just used to it or maybe there’s something really wrong? Had to ask help from the woman making pasta 😁
