"Lovely Apartment - block could be improved"

The apartments is extremely clean, beautifully presented and very well equipped. Roomy and very comfortable. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. There is no lift so best not to pack too heavy. The location is very good with stunning views across the Danube a couple of minutes walk away. The Palace is a 25 minute walk and to get to Buda across Chain Bridge takes another 10-15 minutes but public transport options are available.

Quite expensive but that may well be because the Hungarian GP was on. There are a couple of issues which the hosts probably don't have any control over but I will mention them for completeness and in the interest of others considering this accommodation. The apartments location is in quite an old building with a courtyard. There were some cats running loose. They were friendly but did leave some deposits. Also the drain smelt in the shower. I suspect this is because the overall drainage system from the block is showing signs of age and needs a thorough overhaul by the building owner. These are the reasons why I can only score it 7. In a better kept block it would easily be a 9 or 10.

Great location. Trams and underground near. Very tranquille and close to a parking lot. The ampartement is nice and bright and really clean. Staff was very nice and communication was a pleassure.

We missed some more towels, toilette paper and bin bags.
