Beds no comfortable at all

Location is fairly close to the beach. Shower was pretty good and hot water reliable. Internet speed was fair.

The main bedroom bed is in terrible condition. The centre of the bed is so low you basically end up stuck in the middle and its sooo noisy when you move. I did let the host know and they swopped the mattress. This helped about 50%. When i looked under the mattress you can see the bed base is basically collapsed and someone has tried to tape it together! Even though this is a budget accommodation the bed isnt acceptable. The other beds our kids used has plain foam mattresses which have compressed and arent comfortable. The gas cooker in the kitchen had both control knobs broken off. So to cook you need to try turn the metal rod which is just about possible but its not acceptable for a paid accommodation. The frying pan is so bashed up it cant sit flat on the hob. Some basic kitchen utensils were missing too such as scissors. There wasnt even a toaster. The kettle supplied is so cheap that its connected permanently to the chord meaning to fill it up with water you have to unplug it at the wall, take it to the sink, fill it up and then put it back and plug it in again. Seriously, a cordless kettle is under R200! The front door could only lock from the inside as the outside wasnt working. There is clearly a lack of proper maintenance and upkeep in the apartment. Its time the owner put some TLC into this place before it gets even worse. It actually has potential.

On the site it displays a beautiful ocean view from the balcony, when we arrived there was no ocean view. False advertising.

We had to wait for our apartment becoz of mix up, we had to ask for a television and reset it to work, WiFi was poor and struggled with hot water.
