Property was neat and clean and well maintained

Staff’s service was pathetic. They mentioned generally here only foreigner come and generally no India family comes here for visit hence they do not provide much services. Breakfast they used to prepare only one item that should also be of their choice. They will prepare the breakfast and serve it in the cafeteria without informing guests that the breakfast is served. When we went there to check with them about breakfast, saw that breakfast already served and cold. If you ask for water they will charge extra for mineral water otherwise you will have to drink tap water. Created a scene for giving fresh towels everyday. No one will respond to your calls after 6.30/7 pm you are all by yourself.

Friendly staff, helpful tips, clean room and bedlinen and bathroom.

Paid mineral water, breakfast could have had more items, had to ask for toiletries and tea bags (only one tea bag, one soap, no handwash was supplied).

Nice place to stay with family, very good staff.

It’s location! A short 300m stroll through the local village to the market area via the back gate gave a great insight to life away from the cities. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. We can recommend the local Toddy Shop for a meal. 800 metres away, turn left at gate then right at junction.

Bed was very firm.

Breakfast was typical of the region,so to the western palate was a bit strange but we soon got to like it. It was followed by Marsala omlette which was great. The chef Amal was always on hand to make lemon sodas or fresh orange juice which he did frequently as it was so hot Vaikash the manager was very helpful , even to the extent of filming the route into the village so we wouldn’t get lost The Heritage hotel is set down a side street and as soon as we were through the gate we left the sounds of people and traffic behind us It is a bit remote but for us that was the attraction. The village was a ten minute walk and the lake shore was a short Tuk Tuk ride away All four members of the staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible The pool was well maintained and was a godsend in the hot weather We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will make a point of returning

The provision of a few sun beds round the pool would help

The peaceful garden, the rooms, the swimming pool, everything was wonderful and the staff were very helpful with any requests met immediately. We were close to the village which was great as there was a local festival on while we were there.

The location is quite isolated from the lake but near to the village. However the standard of brookside more than made up for that. Tuk tuks are very reasonable.

The manager arranged two trips for us. Both were excellent, especially the sunrise boat trip. The resort was good but the rooms were an unusual layout.

The surrounding area of the swimming pool was poor. No chairs or shade and a rotten shed which needed some attention to enhance the rest of the resorts buildings. Shame about that. Also if you wanted an evening meal chef clocks off at 5pm.5
