Just a helpful idea - Maybe a waist level shelf or a small table in the bathroom to leave toilet bag on or as a place to spread out toiletries . A chair to put clothes on while showering

A lovely welcome from Kerry - all very relaxed. Good facilities including washing machine.

Toilet/ bathroom/ bedroom layout a little awkward.

Great location for our needs that particular weekend as attended market close by. Lovely room and liked the privacy.

Only things I would suggest changing are the hot bed sheets that were on and I feel the outdoor bath area could be made more appealing by adding more plants or tidying up abit (cool little spot for it tho).

1 bed was in the living room. The bathroom opened into the kitchen. Fleece sheets are not a good choice

It was clean and the welcome notę and baked scones were lovely

Cute apartment with everything you need. Possibly the comfiest bed ever! Brilliant owners are really responsive.

It has 2 separate bedrooms but the overall layout doesnt work. The 2 bedrooms is the only reason i booked it. The bedrooms though are connected so you have to walk thru one to get to the other. It was very dated but clean - hosts left eggs, scones and choc bars which was nice. Bed in front room comfy. Good contact from host via email. They dont live onsite. They answered a query we had straightaway and popped in to make sure we found the room etc. it does have all amenities you need.

This place is very old and ramshackle. Single glaze windows right next to busy 80 kmh road - zero sleep. If you are downstairs you will hear upstairs tenants moving around - floorboards and joists creaked very badly. I think this motel is mainlyrented to workers who get up early and are not quiet. Upstairs man was awake at 4am stomping. TV is only smart (no freeview aerial - if there is - not mentioned in compendium) and after 5 pm the internet is so slow you cant watch TV. Location is about a km out of hoki too far to walk into town. Bathroom was average but clean. Old sliding door to it right next to kitchen and no sound proofing so ‘sounds’ could clearly be heard. It is cheap at the 143 a night non refund but i would rather pay a bit more to get sleep and watch some TV in the township. It was just me and a mate for one night - i would have checked out if booked for more than one. For a bunch of lads - could sleep 3 in there with a room each and one night and not fussy about slow wifi then 👍. Maybe a family on a very tight budget might stay. There is zero view of beach from downstairs. Average garden area to look at. They advertise a firepit but pretty sure if you lit it the upstairs workers and others would not be happy. Also its a stones throw from sewage ponds. Sorry wont be back. When i booked only 4 reviews and glowing rating. We travel a lot. This is not close to 9/10. Photos make it look better than reality im sorry. Upstairs probably better as you wont hear the incessant stomping/creaking and have sea view to compensate.

Bedding was wonderful and the shower was a great design for someone who was not very mobile (post-surgery). Though close to the main road (and occasional noise from trucks and train), the closeness of the sea provided a soothing background sound.

The only issues we could see were due to the layout/design of the units. One was the fact that, while we knew we would be sharing a bathroom between the generations in our family, we did not realise that we would need to leave our door unlocked to facilitate this (no way to lock out the public). There was also a lot of noise from the occupant of the unit above, which appeared to be simply a design issue.
