Tetebatu Valley Bungalows

Lovely bungalow/house in a calm local area. Very relaxing and peaceful. Restaurant in accomodation. Good food. Loved the omelette and Lombok style satay. Owner and the family was very nice and helpful. The garden around bungalows was nice with the wide variety of plants ... and home animals. The house was clean and stylish. Hot water and cold water. Modern fan on the ceiling.

The location was great, very close to the waterfalls and beautiful scenery within the rice fields, you can take a walking tour to the monkey forest and waterfalls. The food in the cafe was so incredible and the staff were kind. Cute little bungalow.

It’s difficult to rate when you think about the value for money, this cost us less than £10 for a night. However, the nearby mosques/ chickens are very loud so bring earplugs and the mattress was quite hard. I suppose it comes down to what you value highest… It’s quite hard to find, we got a taxi to here but would be advisable to have a scooter for sure. Don’t forget cash, nothing else nearby!!

The bungalows were private with patio, the staff was readily avail for food and drink, path to rice fields out back of property.

Is a little secluded and can be hard to find which also has its advantages.

The guest family is so nice and cute! They are so lovely. Even though they were struggling with English, they were really welcoming and friendly. The room looks exactly like on the pictures. Their prices for food are really fair and they even offer some handmade stuff for a good price (we bought vanilla and Chilli peppers).

The water of the shower didn't go away properly, and you just got a QR Code for Wifi, which worked like half a day.

The family i stayed with was really nice. On my first night, i got to eat dinner with them all. Bruce Lee, that’s what i call him, gave me a tour to the monkey forest, waterfalls and we walked down the rice terraces. He also took me to the village on my third day. All for a reasonable price. The accomodation itself was good as was the view. It was terrific.

I slept in the wrong bungalow on my first night as there was a mixed up. With no aircon nor fan, the room was still cold but i liked it. 😉

Very nice bungalow. Probably the best one we stayed at in indonesia. High quality interior with good bed, matrass, bathroom, usb-chargers etc. Also nice little outdoor seating with a view of the farm and rice fields. Highly recommend.

Was a bit hard to find in google maps. Hosts could include a description on how to get there. But once you get to tetebatu and its still light, you can ask and follow signs. Breakfast was quite basic (coffee + pancake) and eg we had to pay extra for juice.
