Hospitality was excellent

It was good

The location was quit near to the main road and view from the room was really very exciting.Next day we went for Tiger hill trail run also .It gave us experience to live near the nature , to feel the calmness and silence. We like the hospitality and support from the Owner,they were very helpful and understanding.

The cooperation from the host and his wife was excellent. They were truly good human beings. Location of the property completely justifies its name, and it was full of 'tranquillity'. Rooms were clean and tidy. The toilet was hygienic. Food they served was homely and excellent. The price for the food they charged was very reasonable. They treated us like a member of their family and tried to provide us with all the comforts. Ghoom railway station is within walking distance.

To take a shower, you have to request the host to use their private bathroom as the bathroom attached to the room doesn't have this facility.

The location is just by the road from Ghoom to Sukhia, the facilities were good, the room is quite large for a solo traveller. The food at the homestay was also good. The hosts are wonderful also.

Brilliant hospitality and caring homely environment from the hosts. Highly recommend for female solo travellers. Food was also clean and healthy and made at home. The view is exquisite!

Everything was really good to be honest

Tranquil Retreat Homestay, Ghum is an excellent stay in all respect. The owner and his family never gave me a scope for thinking if I was outside of my own home. They are so gentle. They cared during my two nights stay much more than one can think. They prepared every meal with utmost care. It is situated in a walkable distance near Ghum / Ghoom railway station. One can visit Old Monastery Ghum by walking 3 minutes only. I would rate the Homestay 10/10 and strongly recommend to stay for atleast one night while visiting Darjeeling town. I wish them all success in life.

There is nothing to be disliked by a guest in the Homestay. There is a toilet attached with the room. One has to use the bathroom of the owner for bathing. Though it is not a big problem. Both the toilet and the bathroom are neat and clean.
