Mossotti Street Apartment

Clean new apartment in historic building with small balcony which gets early afternoon sun. handy location within walking distance of everything. specifically 10 mins walk from the station, about 20 mins to Leaning Tower and 10 mins to the amazing National Museum of San Matteo which has one of the best collections of medieval and early renaissance works I have ever seen. Many interesting restaurants and little shops nearby, a couple of nice bars, but it is in a quiet old street so not noisy A Carrefour supermarket is 2 mins walk. Very comfortable bed, good quality bedding, a couple of armchairs, table, dining chairs, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle. There is a large new combination microwave oven/toaster , Also a let down double bed in the living space which we did not use. Two huge televisions and easy connect wifi. This was a very comfortable flat which we were delighted with, it was equipped with many items for cooking and you could be happy here for weeks on end. Check in was easy with a charming non resident host turning up, she was very helpful. I would recommend this place highly.

A few minor niggles, although these did not actually bother us much. The two bedside lights were battery operated without a charger provided. I'd personally have liked a toaster. There are about 35 steps leading up to the flat inside the house. Shower had 2 heads a larger and a small one, the small one was a fine shower and lots of hot water, but the larger head didn't work and dripped so you had to keep dodging the drips.... I think it just needs descaling.
