Weird smell, not a very clean bed sheet and old, hard to unlock with keys, no AC and no trash bin

I liked the facilities, and it was quiet

The room was not clean, ans the staff gave us only 1 big towel per person and said that oh thats how much we provide. There was 1 small mini towel for hands which in 3 days idk how u can manage 3 people in 1 room with this quantity.

Great Location, walkable and very quiet area. Very clean and spacious enough for 3 of us.

if there can be lift, as we have 2 big suit cases and a bit challenge to carry up to the second floor.

There were kitchen utensils, and it had features like a coffee machine that are generally not present. Plus: Champagne and whiskey glasses were available. The beds were of medium comfort. It was generally clean. The couches were very worn out and shabby, giving a bad appearance and texture. The house heated up very well. The shower was big and comfortable.

Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodation. However, our wallet was stolen. When we contacted the property owner, we received an indifferent response like, "We're not doing anything; find your wallet." They consistently conveyed messages like robots. Responding with "Find your wallet" to someone whose wallet has been stolen either indicates a lack of understanding of English or a lack of competence in handling such situations.

Not much. We arrived at midnight. Outside street is dark and dingy. Front door was rattling in the wind when we arrived... When we tried to lock it we understood why. The handle made it very hard to close the door long enough to turn the key in the 2nd lock (first is broken) to keep the door closed. So that stayed open all night on our first and only night here. ( We booked elsewhere in the morning) . Upon entry the room was a lot smaller than expected, and the heating was on full blast. No instruction on how to lower the heating however... Just how not to touch the boiler! This was when we noticed the window issue... The blinds were damaged and were only closed 70 percent of the way. Beyond repair. One had no string to pull it up or down. But 2nd floor quite quiet won't be an issue we thought! So opened both windows and went to bed. Woke up at 3am to my partner screaming saying she had seen somebody looking through the window. I went to have a look but by the time I'd got my pants and shoes on anyone who may have been there had gone! So no chance we were staying another night after that. Got a shower in the morning... Nearly flooded the bathroom.... How could one night be so bad??? We contacted the owner and explained what had happened in order to see if any compensation could have been agreed. Not a chance. Was not interested one bit. Said we should have contacted him at 12.30 am and he would have sorted it.. People next door had been there 3 days and said they couldn't close the door. What chance would we have had at midnight. Think he'd have popped over with a new lock and blind? Nah me neither... And the response the next day confirmed that for us. If I could give 0 stars I would.
