It is one of a kind place to stay for the antiquity and rustic feeling in which I want to give it 9 rating for this reason. However, you might want to brush up your Italian to communicate with the key keeper. I can tell he was very kind, nice and trying his best to be helpful, but he can't English.

We need to get physical keys to get into the unit, as well as arrange the time to return the key. BTW, bring your own towels if you like fresh ones.

The furniture and the apartment are such a different experience. The owner of the apartment lives nextdoor, he was very helpful, although he could not speak English. We wished we could speak Italian :) the location is perfect, there is a parking garage in walking distance but a bit expensive. It is very suitable for a short stay.

The apartment is loud but it is normal for such an old apartment. If you are sensitive to noise, it might be a problem. But overall it is an interesting experience to stay in this old apartment.

Very impressive room, great location. I feeled sumerged in the history of the town.
