Very average and certainly not worth. They charged me 50% additional for early check in and then charged me again for the breakfast.

frequent power cuts , exterior and some interior needs refurbishment , breakfast was of poor quality , Al la carte menu was good .

Location is off putting.

The property is a Heritage property with a Swimming pool on the top floor and views of Prayagraj city as well as River Ganga. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

There a lot of mosquitoes and insects. But, maybe, this is true all over Prayagraj. The Swimming pool would have been more enjoyable if there were no insects.

We requested for and got apacked breakfast for an early morning start --nicely done.

Rooms are of diferent size and type, customers should be able to choose while booking.

The ambience of the hotel is as shown in the pics. Staff are polite and helpful. One person who stood out for us was Mr Akshay at the restaurant. Food is delicious, and portions were generous.

- breakfast can be better. Taste and quality of the food was ordinary and some were poor.

The buffet breakfast was very good. The staff was nice and trying to help. The location near the Gange was perfect for me, even though the area is poor, dirty and many dogs around are starving (I fed some), which is very sad. Building has some charm even though full renovation is needed.

Allahabad is NOT a touristic city. It's very dirty, poor and derelict, so the offer of professionally-staffed and ran hotels seems poor. However this does NOT excuse how grossly overpriced this establishment is. For 125 euros a night, I got a "Gaurka" room which turned out to be VERY small, old, no clothes cupboard, bad insulation, I wasn't happy at all. Such a room should have been 40-50 euros a night MAXIMUM. I asked to change room, and there I was presented with similar small Gaurka rooms with no glass windows (just wooden shutters) in winter!!! In the end, because I was staying 6 nights, they gave me a bigger room (upgraded), but with painting falling from the ceiling and old as well. This room wasn't worth more than 80 euros/night, but at last, I accepted. the English skills of the staff could be improved. The pool is unusable in winter. In general the building needs a complete renovation/repainting but has some charm indeed. The staff gives taxis contacts that are more than double than the right price, not professional. Internet, (without a password!) was patchy.
