USThe owners feed the local deer and they come to visit in spades. I love the cows all around the property. The Enchanted Rock state park is 15 minutes away and absolutely worth the trip (take water).
I wouldn't say i didn't like this but it's something to be aware of: I drink a lot of water and the bottled water onsite wasn't sufficient. I figured it out but there is no where anywhere close to buy any (or anything else), so bring what you need. I didn't receive the cabin number in my reservation details. I didn't know I needed it since it wasn't sent. Luckily, the manager responded promptly or I, as a woman traveling alone 20 miles from anything, would have felt very anxious.

Check-in was poor, bathroom has no exhaust vent, jacuzzi has no handrails to get in and out of.
USI enjoyed the livestock loose near the property. Absolutely loved the drive into Fredericksburg. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. I definitely noticed the amenities to make the cabin cozy and warm! The view of sunrise is unbelievable! And lastly, great gesture with the wine bottle left on the table!!💕
