The apartment had been reserved when we booked, owner asked us to cancel the booking because of wrong information of booking.com

Worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. Very slow response on WhatsApp, and no answer when we arrived and called. We only received the keys one hour after arrival, and that was after arguments. The building had no electricity and the emergency alarm was constantly ringing. They said it wasn’t their problem and offered no help at all—the issue was only solved thanks to the neighbors. The apartment was extremely dirty. The shower was broken, the bathroom floor was filthy, a bucket full of dirty water was left inside, and the beds did not match the photos and were uncomfortable and dirty. If it hadn’t been late at night and freezing cold, I would not have stayed for a single minute

EGLISH BELOW Hosszú lesz, de mindenképp olvasd el, ha ide készülsz foglalni, amit SEMMIKÉPP SEM AJÁNLOK! A szállást két éjszakára foglaltuk (5 felnőtt, 3 kisgyerek – 4, 6 és 8 évesek). Az érkezés napján azonnal jeleztük, hogy a lakás állapota súlyosan eltér a hirdetésben leírtaktól. Sajnos kevés opció volt bookingon ahol ennyi emberre elfogadható áron lett volna szállás, olvastam az értékeléseit, így túl magas elvárásom nem volt, de még azt is alulmúlta. A szállás tulaja videóban kuldte el hol találjuk a kulcsot,hogy jutunk be, ez teljesen érthető volt, nem volt vele gond azt leszámítva hogy már a címnèl voltak problémák,a bookingon megadott címe a szállásnak nem fedi a valóságot, a petőfi u.5.sz alatt található a szállás. A lakás nagyon koszos volt: porcicák mindenhol, használt fültisztítók és vattakorongok a fürdőben, használt fehérnemű a mosógép mögött, koszos fejtámla az ágyvégnél. Ezen felül: • egy ágy leszakadva várt minket, • a WC-ülőke törött volt, • a padló egy helyen feljött balesetveszélyesen • az egyik szobában függöny helyett egy drapéria volt feltéve törölközőkkel „ellensúlyozva”, • a zuhanykabin oldala leszakadt, a zuhany vízszabályozó le volt törve, így NEM LEHETETT ZUHANYOZNI az első este, • az egyik szobában gázóra és gázcső található, miközben hálószobaként funkcionál (ami biztonsági okokból elfogadhatatlan és illegális!), • összesen 2 használható szék volt 8 emberre (plusz kettő törött egyik szekrény tetején) • a 10 férőhelyből 2 egy kihúzható kanapé lett volna, ami szintén törött, így valójában csak 6 használható fekvőhely volt. Mindez még egy baráti hétvégére is elfogadhatatlan lenne, kisgyerekekkel azonban konkrétan veszélyes volt az ott-tartózkodás: a gyerekek elestek a feljött padlón, az egyik gyermek nem tudott aludni a leszakadt ágy miatt, és az első este nem tudtuk őket megfürdetni. Az érkezés napján és másnap reggel is többször próbáltuk elérni a szállásadót a Bookingon keresztül, sikertelenül. A Booking.

The apartment is definitely in a prime location, close to the centre of District V and to a walk distance to all the major site attractions and nightlife in Pest, but also close enough to the Buda part. Recommended for exploring the city for a weekend escape. Overall is spacious, at the second floor but with elevator. The place is quiet and warm, with high ceilings that gives the sense of spacious.

The apartment needs some love, it looks “worn”. Beds and mattresses aren’t really comfortable, and you get one towel per room (which are all double). One of the bed was broken, when we try to sit on it we discovered that the slats weren’t fixed to the frame and they were all misplaced. We put them back in position but we avoided to use the room in the end. We arrived at 1pm and we found the cleaning lady (we came back at 3pm as per check in hour) and the flat was definitely cleaned, although at night when we were talking at the kitchen table, we saw and killed a cockroach (that probably came out from the drain hole in the bathroom). After that episode we haven’t seen anything else fortunately. One of the chair in the kitchen was wobbly (probably unscrewed or just broken). We haven’t used anything in the kitchen except for the fridge for some water and the kettle for the coffee. There’s a coffee pod machine (Nespresso style) but no coffee at our arrival). In the bathroom there was some left over bottles of shower gel and shampoo but not new ones.

I liked that there was a lockbox for collecting the keys and the communication with the property owner was active before checkin. After checkin, we didn't get any response until after checkout.

The shower door and faucet is broken, taking a shower was a luck based activity how things would turn out. There was also no sheets for the pillows and the blankets on the uncomfortable beds. Under the beds, there was a lot of dust and lint piled up like cleaning isn't a priority. One of the evenings we couldn't get back up to our floor because the elevator wasn't working, we learnt later on our own that there was another elevator, even a tenant in the building didn't know. The stairs are behind a gate which requires a key which we didn't have so we used a broom from the garbage room to press the open gate button. Wifi was also non-functional for 95% of the time.
