The staff was so friendly that it felt like home. The activities they organize are super interesting! The rooftop is a perfect spot to relax with unique view.

This hostel is right in the middle of the city, nearest to all the famous spots, with great night vibes and a restaurant. The staff is very polite and always available to assist you. I even did an early check-in, and they let me have my work meeting in the common area without any issue. What I loved most was the vibe here – it matched exactly what I expected as a solo traveler. It’s perfect for making friends, traveling with new groups, and sharing new stories. I must say, if you’re not here for the hype but for the vibe, this place has the best arrangements at night. For music and art lovers, they always have the best surprises waiting.

I stayed here for 4 days, but unfortunately my bedsheet was never changed – not even once at the beginning. They only prepared it a single time for my entire stay. The bathroom was also quite dirty. The biggest issue I faced was the electricity cut. It wasn’t a general power cut in the area, but a problem limited only to my floor, which made it even more frustrating. That said, the place did meet many of my expectations from a hostel: a friendly environment, good vibe, and the best night-owl community. As they say, the price is not just for the place, it’s for the vibe – and that part was true.

I had the most incredible experience staying at Whereabout Hostel during my trip to Udaipur. I genuinely cannot thank them enough for making my stay so memorable. From the moment I arrived, the hosts made me feel completely safe and at home — their warmth and hospitality truly set this place apart. The rooftop is undoubtedly the highlight of the hostel, offering stunning views and a vibrant atmosphere. There’s always something happening — from gaming sessions, dance and live music to spontaneous midnight jamming. The common area is a cozy, lively space filled with board games, a foosball table, and comfy seating — perfect for relaxing or killing time during the day.One of the most thoughtful touches is their morning and evening walking tours, which take you through the untouched, lesser-known parts of Udaipur — places you'd likely miss otherwise. Their in-house cinematographer, who captures beautiful, candid moments of your stay. Trust me, you’ll leave not only with memories but with stunning photos to look back on! Everyone at Whereabout Hostel was incredibly helpful, kind, and full of positive energy. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a backpacker, or exploring Udaipur with friends, this is the place to stay for a wholesome, unforgettable experience. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!
