Menaggio Tosca Apartments

The location is amazing, and having its private beach was special. The balcony was the best bit. Close to ferry and centre of town, with easy access. The space is a good size and worked well for a family of five adults. As it is split over 2 apartments I would not recommend it for a family with younger children. Unfortunately for us, we discovered that the washing machine was broken and they were not able to repair it during our 5-day stay, however, there was a laundromat across the road.

The location was excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the price was right.

We rented a three bedroom apartment but two of the bedrooms were in a completely different unit. We were a group of all adults so it wasn’t a huge deal but if you are travelling with kids or teens this might not be ideal. The unit with one bedroom was nicely upgraded and had a great view. The two bedroom unit was furnished more like a hostile and needs upgrading badly

Fabulous location, close to ferry and main square. Unbelievable view from the terrace, absolute highlight of the property.

In need of some maintenance and furniture upgrades.

The location is fantastic. The apartments are located right on Lake Como. The location is very close to the main square and ferry service in Menaggio. The location is really the big upside for this property. A welcome basket was provided which is a nice touch. They were responsive to questions. The apartments are in acceptable condition. Apartment #2 has three bedrooms and a nice living room area with a great view of the lake.

Apartment #2 has no air conditioning and it was hot. The bedrooms are located not next to the lake but next to the main road. If you open the windows to try and cool off the bedrooms, then the road noise is so loud that we found it impossible to sleep. While the apartment was clean, we did notice some issues with bugs (ants/spiders). For the high price we paid for this apartment, I believe it should have air conditioning. I would never stay here again in one of the summer months. The price is just two high given the lack of air conditioning and the road noise right next to the bedrooms. We use rental properties a lot and I was very disappointed by this property. If they added air conditioning then I would be much more positive about this property.

Property has a great location, near the pier, supermarkets and restaurants. It also has a balcony with an amazing view of Lake Como, where we had dinner and breakfast. Rooms were nice and clean. No interaction with host, just needed the key from a rental store near the building.

As we got 2 rooms, the internet was really bad and not usable across the corridor into the other room ( it was not an issue in the main room ). Not a concern, just a suggestion, host could review the dinnerware and replace some of them.

Location and view was very good. Staffs are nice.
