The hotel is just next to the train station, and really like the dining area. The staff are polite and helpful. The rooms and common areas are clean and well maintained.

出車站就是旅館，超近，無人check in 也免除對話尷尬

No interactions with staff whatsoever. Full self-service from dropping luggage to check in and out. Right outside the station but very, very quiet. A window that opened!

Very interesting hotel concept. No local staff, just a check-in/check-out machine to deliver room keys and to leave the room keys. Before arrival I was worried about this concept, but it worked very well. The hotel had the usual facilities for a Japanese hotel: lobby with microwave and tables for eating, coin laundry and self-service luggage store with number locks. No local staff means also no breakfast, but in the lobby there was a coffee machine, also the room had coffee/tea facilities and it was possible to buy breakfast items either from the railway station convenience store (note that it closes at 19:00) or from the nearby (15 min by walking) hypermarket with very wide selection of food (also good for buying food for dinner to be heated by the micro in the lobby). The hotel location is convenient for traveling as it is connected to the railway station. But this means that everything else, for example, the famous samurai houses and restaurants are quite far away, although within walking distance
