Big house with a lot of open space for relaxing and dining and kitchen was really nice. The house does have a small apartment home behind the house the owner uses as a separate rental with its own parking. We had no issues with privacy. Everything was available for cooking and cleaning up. Good experience with finding home and accessing. Our family had a very nice time before catching our week cruise.

The back rooms were very hot with very little circulation and ac venting but we made it work.

The location is good.

There are ZERO/NO smoke detector alarms in the house. I do not appreciate that the owner/operator jeopardized my family's safety at the property. The City of Galveston, TX fire code requires by law that there are smoke detector alarms in every bedroom and hallways leading to bedrooms. Non-compliance of the law is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE. I reported the property to the Galveston Fire Marshal. The owner/operator also has a residential parking pass for renters to use during their stay. The City of Galveston, TX ordinance does not allow residential parking passes for STRs (short term rental properties). The owner provided false information to obtain the residential parking pass. I reported the property to the City of Galveston Marshal. Furthermore, the owner/operator emailed check-out instructions to me at 8:12 am prior to my 10:00 am check-out time. Luckily, I was still at the property and was able to follow the check-out instructions. What if I had not checked my emails? What if I had already left the property? The owner/operator would have charged me for not stripping the linens of the beds, taking out the trash, starting the dishwasher, etc. Note that check-out instructions were NOT included with our booking information, and not included with our check-in instructions. They were only provided by email 108 minutes prior to check-out.

Lots of great space, storage, facilities and beds. Decor was wonderful. AC worked great, though it took us a bit to figure out the thermostate. It is much bigger on the inside than appears from the outside.

Read door lock was not working, we had to shuffle someone in the front door to open the back door. The back door toilet leaked. If it's not in working order a sign could have let us know not to use it. And a slat on one of the bunk beds fell out, so the person sleeping it had to move to the trundle in the middle of the night.

The house was very comfortable and location was within walking distance of everything

Everything was great

No place for pets to run around a yard.

Location was excellent walk across to beach this house wS beautiful had everything we needed in the home plus was near all amenities like shopping, beach, and entertainment.

A few more towels could have been added and access to tolitpaper and paper towels which we ran out of.

Nice and open. Lots of room.
