Vittorio, the host, is very helpful. I am travelling on a bicycle with a bicycle trailer and he locked my bicycle in a safe place and he pulled my heavy trailer the aprox. 25 stairs up to the first floor where his dimicile is. He rents out two rooms. Both rooms are very spacious with a private bathroom. The first is about 4.5m x 4m plus a bathroom, it contains a comfortable double bed and a desk with a chair and a small desk top fridge on it. The first one is already on Booking.com, I stayed there the first night, and it is newly renovated. Vittorio has just finished it a few days ago. He told me that I was his first guest after renovation. But the second room, in which I stayed a second night, is not yet on Booking.com because it is not yet completely finished. It has a wardrobe on either side and a bed above the wardrobes at a height of aprox. 2m above the ground. One can stand there because the room height is about 4m. There is a ladder to climb up to the bed, which might be difficult for some people. The advantage is that one has enough space below. One finds a desk and a chair there too. Vittorio's place is centrally located, just a few hundred meters from the Due Torre and the Piazza Maggiore. There are many bars and restaurants around. Also several are very close, e.g. Conad City is just about 50m to the right after leaving the building where his apartment is. Vittorio: Thank you very much for all your help and your kindness!

For me, everything was excellent. But if one has to climb about 25 steps from the ground floor to the first floor. Thus, although I can really recommend Vittoro's place, if you aren't goot on foot, his place isn't your place. And if you are afraid of heights, then you shouldn't stay in his second room.
