General Torres Apartments by Lisbeyond

Very clean and tidy apartment with view of river and only short distance to both river and bridge.

Initially the steps but I got used to them - it’s a property in Gaia so you have to expect this.

We were very pleased with the location and how amazingly quiet it was at night! The Lisbeyond team was very responsive to our questions and we felt looked after! Porto was an wonderful city to visit. Thanks for your hospitality!

I like the proximity to the waterfront, bridge, public transportation, and parking. The apartment was comfortable and clean.

I wish it had a washing machine as well as an iron. Also can you leave extra bags for garbage disposal?

Overall cute place, but could use a little more thought on small things mentioned below. Good location.

Location was nice, and overall place was cute. Negatives were the cabinets in kitchen were smelly when opened. There were no towel hooks for hand towels by sink. or even bath towels in bathroom needed another hook. A shelf in there would have been helpful so you had somewhere to put things, as there was no storage or counter space. The biggest negative, although they were trying to fix it, was the shower plumbing. Very shallow threshold, and water wouldn’t drain so you couldn’t shower. Turn on water, get wet, turn off water and do hair/body. Rinse quickly, and still water could have flooded out…was bummer to not be able to take a true shower. They tried and said they thought it was fixed temporarily, and was scheduled to be fixed in Near future. Unfortunately shower drain was still a huge problem. Kind of sucked because I couldn’t shower the morning we left, and waited until I got to next location.

The apartment is perfectly located. Every day going out we had a nice panoramic view on the city. Everything inside serves for a comfortable stay.

The space was clean, modern and on the first floor. The unit was very quiet coinciding the being in the city. Location was convenient for seeing Gaia and Porto.

The bed needs to be replaced… end of life. Too many body dents. There was only 1 wine glass. Unit was damp and a bit musty. There was a dehumidifier that we were responsible for emptying. We emptied and humidity and smell improved. We accidentally turned the hvac to heat and it smelled terrible. We didn’t need heat so it wasn’t really a problem for us.

Great location

The apartment is pleasant, nicely furnished and the check in service was fine. They allowed us to leave our bags as we arrived early. The location is good.

There is a small bit of mould in the shower (easily treated with bleach). The aircon does not seem to be working, although we didn't really need it during our stay. We only got one teabag of normal English breakfast ... There are two flights of stairs for those with bags.

Nice apartment with view from the terrace over Gaia and to the Douro river. Good to reach by Metro and close to the nice bridge and city center.
