The apartment was clean. The owner was nice and left a purchased coffee cake and coffee, some juice and crackers. I feel like I am making it sound like I liked it better than I did. It was clean, that was the best part.

1. The owner was not forthcoming about how to get the keys. It appeared as if she has no policies in place and she was tough to get information from. 2. The apartment was hot a there were no instructions on how to cool it down. We figured it out but man, stifling at first. 3. internet service wouldn't connect. 4. The bedrooms had glass doors and no privacy since the bedrooms were next to each other. The doors at least need curtains. e are 2 couples and it was ridiculous trying to have privacy. 5. The one bedroom had no vent system was was uncomfortably hot all night. 6. The bathroom showers had no place to put shampoo, etc. It was very hard to wash off, shampoo, etc. 7. The owners doesn't say how far it is in the ZTL Zone. It is not fun to get luggage from a car to the apartment. 8. No lift or elevator, the apartment is on the "2nd" level which in Europe is really the third level. 9. Parking is a TOTAL NIGHTMARE! 10. The 2nd bathroom is very, very tiny! I figured 3'x4'.

Inside the city centre, very clean house with excellent house owners.

Great location right in the heart of Monopli old town. Lovely welcome by the host and she gave us good advise on nearby restaurants. Very clean and spacious.

The host met us on the way from our car to the property and her husband took our cases up the stairs, which are many! The property is in an excellent location, right in the heart of the old town within easy reach of bars, restaurants, shops and the port. It was very clean and modern.

There is no getting away from the fact that there are lots of stairs, the last of which are steep! However, this wasn't a problem for us, especially as our cases were taken up for us. Without that it would have been difficult. Paid on street parking is available fairly near, but we mostly parked about 10 minutes' walk away where it was free. We were three friends and although it says there are three bedrooms, one of these is in a living room, so no privacy, and one is very small and airless. Some more cupboards for those rooms would have been good too. Also a kettle - essential for the English!

Very comfortable and Elisabeth was a wonderful host, very responsive. The apartment was fully equipped, including breakfast items for the whole family for 10 days, including a welcome cake !

Great location, right in the centre of Monopoli and very close to everything. The apartment was very modern and clean with lots of space. The property host was very attentive and always available for any questions. I would definitely recommend
