JPAlmost everything was great!
Not the hostel's fault but one guest was loud after 10pm striking conversation in the sleeping area with other guests. Maybe it should be said during check in to please not talk after 10pm or go down to common area because I was trying to sleep and they were being loud.

DELocation, cleanliness
1) Banning slippers in shared hostel showers or bathtubs can create hygiene and health risks. Walking barefoot on wet communal surfaces increases the risk of athlete’s foot, plantar warts (HPV), bacterial infections, skin irritation, and slipping accidents. Shared shower areas are warm and humid environments where fungi and viruses can spread more easily. For this reason, many dermatologists and health authorities actually recommend using personal shower slippers in hostels, gyms, and public showers. A better hygiene policy would be to require clean indoor shower slippers instead of banning them completely. 2) No staff, no hostel atmosphere.
BGRooms feel authentic as a Japanese homestay. Great location.
Only two toilets, all located on the first floor.
USThe hostel was not very clean. To get to the toilet, I had to go down from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor, which was inconvenient. There was also an uncomfortable situation while I was falling asleep - a guy opened my curtain because there was confusion with the bed numbers, and he had been assigned the same bed as me. Hopefully this was just a one-time mistake, but it did make me feel uncomfortable.
