Great location, v comfortable, great breakfast

Breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was exceptional, nicer than any hotel we have ever stayed in. Ann and Micheal went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. At the start of breakfast Micheal brought fresh scones and brown bread to the table. As soon as we tasted the scones we asked for the recipe which Micheal emailed to me that morning. Rooms included all the small essentials and they even had makeup remover wipes included too!

We had such a lovely stay at Oranhill Lodge in Oranmore. From the moment we arrived, Ann and Michael made us feel completely at home — warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind hosts. The atmosphere of the lodge is cozy and inviting, the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything we needed and more — we especially enjoyed having the tea and kettle in the room for a quiet cup in the evening. The whole place was impeccably clean and peaceful, and we really appreciated how calm and quiet the nights were. Breakfast was a real highlight — freshly prepared and served by Ann and Michael themselves. Everything was delicious, and it felt like sitting down to a meal at home. On top of that, Ann gave us so many wonderful recommendations for places to visit around Ireland, plus extra tips for our itinerary that really made a difference to our trip. The location is also perfect: close to Galway but far enough to enjoy the tranquility of Oranmore, making it an ideal base for exploring the west of Ireland. The value for what you get — the comfort, the warmth, the quality — is just excellent. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Oranhill Lodge is a true gem, and we’ll remember our stay there with a lot of fondness. We’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting the area.

Villa magnifica! I mattoncini rossi fuori bellissimi ma poi dentro sembrava di essere in una baita! I proprietari ci hanno accolto calorosamente e la colazione...che dire, stupenda! 1 sola notte ma avremmo soggiornato una settimana solo qui 😍

Die Lodge war für meine Freundin und mich der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflugsziele (Cliffs of Moher & Connemara) in Westirland. Der LIDL gegenüber war ein Pluspunkt und nach Galway sind es nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Lage also top für uns! Das Highlight ist aber natürlich die Gastfreundlichkeit dieses Hauses 🫶🏼 Das Frühstücksangebot ist umfangreich und sehr lecker und die Zimmer sind authentisch gemütlich, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Kann diese Unterkunft mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen!

Ontzettend vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw. Mooie kamer en heerlijk bed. Heerlijk ontbijt. We hebben genoten.
