Rafiki Backpackers-hostel

I had a great stay at Rafiki. Is quiet far from town but it was the best choice for me, to avoid touristic places. 10 mins walking from the hostel, you can fine the most beautiful and isolated beach. The hostel itself is was amazing. I was staying in a private room with private bathroom. Everything was clean and bed was comfy. Great to have a fan for hot days. Its similar to a bungalow so its normal to find geckos in room or flies. The staff was amazing and girls prepared a rich breakfast (included). Being far from town, you can call a driver or you can wait till 6/7 pm and go there with owner Rafiki (for free) and I think that is really a nice service to offer. Suggestion: for lunch, you can buy anything and put it in the fridge in kitchen

There is no warm water running but it was no problem because it is really hot here. And the hostel is a little outside of Nungwi.

I can wholeheartedly recommend East Sandbank Apartment to anyone seeking a tranquil seaside escape with a gracious host. I'm already looking forward to returning to this wonderful place.
