Agriturismo Vigna Corallo

This iwas an unexpected delight. We had the most restful, happy time here. The pace is easy, the people are accommodating and kind. And it is beautiful with access to a pool, a beach and a vegetable garden!

The property and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The pool and surrounding landscaping is stunning. The location is immediate to one of the most beautiful beaches in Salento so can’t be beat, and proximity to Otranto was great as well. Several farmstand stores selling beautiful local produce and goods and also wonderful farm to table restaurants very close.

We found the buffet breakfast to not be worth the $15euros person per day they charged at all. I personally would avoid getting any food here and opt for going into town or to other agriturismos in the area for all meals. The kitchen was pretty stocked with cookware/dishes so we made dinner one night at the apartment, however there were no seasoning, oils, etc. The beds were uncomfortable and the apartment we stayed in was very bare bones. No soap or shampoo provided (first time staying at a hotel anywhere in the world that didn’t provided bath soaps, etc.), no towels for the pool, and also there was no booklet/map or any information about the property provided, not even the WiFi info. Some other notes- the garbage under the kitchen sink seemed to be a pull out mechanism but was broken and difficult to open, several of the electrical sockets around the apartment did not seem to work, at first the gas stove didn’t work at all until we figured out that the gas wasn’t even turned on and the gas stove only lit on one of the four burners using the electric igniter with no matches or lighter being provided, there was also a plumbing issue under the bathroom sink as a small amount of water would leak onto the cabinet and floor underneath. It felt like maybe they just weren’t ready for the season, but we would still highly recommend staying here just keeping these things in mind.

The apartment was perfect and very comfortable. The surrounding area, pool and beach were beautiful. You could pick fresh vegetables from the orto.

The closest shop was about 2.5 miles away so it would have been great if they sold just some basics on site like fresh bread or milk.

Excellent location! Right at the beach. You can forget your car, finding parking space, etc. apartment was well equipped (AC, dishwasher, nice terrace)
